Generate an app summary

App admins use App Intelligence to understand unfamiliar apps in less time. The tool outlines the purpose, structure, and key elements of an app in an AI-generated overview.

App Intelligence analyzes an app to generate a concise summary that includes:

  • An executive summary of the app

  • App features and common use cases

  • Roles and descriptions for each user role

  • Table overview of relationships and data flows

  • Key fields and details

Note

App Intelligence is available in the Quickbase Intelligence Pack for app admins. Quickbase AI must be allowed in your realm to use the feature. App summaries generated with App Intelligence are read-only.

Generate an app summary with App Intelligence

To generate an app summary:

  1. Open the app you want to summarize and select Quickbase AI Quickbase AI global bar icon in the global bar.

  2. Select App Intelligence.

  1. Your app summary generates and opens in your app.

Generate an app summary in app settings

  1. Open the app you want to summarize and go to App settings.

  2. Select App Management.

  3. In the Show App Info section, select Show app summary.

You can use Export in the page bar to download a PDF version of your app summary. Use caution when sharing exports externally—they can contain information about your app data and structure.
