About the Finish tab
Available to: all roles, when your company has the QB Courier extension.
The Finish tab is the last tab of a configuration. It has two panels:
Email Notification Setup (left): the settings for the Quickbase email notification that starts a Trigger configuration.
Email Activity (right): where Courier sends error details, and whether Courier keeps a record of each email in a table in your app.
See Create or edit a configuration.
Email Notification Setup
A Trigger configuration runs when a Quickbase email notification on your table sends a request to Courier. You create that notification in your Quickbase app, using the values Courier gives you here.
Select View Email Notification Settings. The button appears for Trigger configurations only.
The dialog has two tabs:
Single Record Setting: for a notification that sends one record at a time.
Multiple Record Setting: for a notification that can send several records at once, for example after a Grid Edit or an import.
Each tab lists the values to enter in the Quickbase notification: Permission Type, Notify Whom, the email address, Notify When, Message Type, Subject, and the Custom Message to copy exactly.
Select CLOSE, then create the notification in your Quickbase app.
For step-by-step instructions, see Email notification setup for triggered configurations.
Email Activity
Courier error email address(es)
Enter the email address or addresses that should receive error details from Courier when it encounters an error. Separate several addresses with commas.
Local activity log
Courier can add a record to a table in your Quickbase app for every email it sends, or tries to send. This lets you keep a history of each email with your data.
Check Add local activity log.
Choose the table:
To have Courier create one for you, check Add new activity table. Courier creates an Email Activities table in your app, related to the configuration's table. When it's done, you see Activity table created successfully!
Or pick an existing table in Activity Table.
Map each value to a field in that table. Choose None for any value you don't want to keep.

Courier doesn't add activity records for Test Mode samples. For details of what's recorded and when, see How Courier records email activity.
Save
Select SAVE AND FINISH. When the save succeeds, you see Activity information saved successfully, and the Courier Configurations list opens.
If the configuration is in Test Mode, set its Status to Enabled on the Configuration tab when you're ready to send emails to your recipients.
