Quickbase feature retirements

Prev Next

Quickbase regularly retires features to streamline user experience. This article explains the different retirement statuses and lists features that have been announced for retirement. Learn more about our approach to retiring features.

Retirement statuses

Quickbase uses several statuses to describe a feature’s stage in its lifecycle. Each status defines the level of support and availability you can expect.

Status

Support

Limited support

The feature is still available but may have restrictions for some or all users. These are defined for each feature, and may include:

  • Limited ability to create or edit related resources

  • Not available to new customers

  • No technical support

  • No future enhancements

  • Only compatible with legacy features (forms, reports, and dashboards; not supported in QBL)

Limited support features receive critical security updates only, at Quickbase’s discretion

End of support

The feature is still available but no longer maintained by Quickbase in any capacity. This means it will not receive any further updates, including security patches.

End of life

The feature has been fully removed and can no longer be used.
