Show or hide row numbers on grid reports

By default, grid reports show row numbers representing each row’s position in your current view. This helps you quickly reference a row or see how many records the report contains.

Default report setting

To hide or show row numbers as a default setting on all grid reports in a table:

  1. Select a table in the sidebar.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select Reports & charts.

  4. On the page bar, select Reporting defaults > Default report settings.

  5. Under Options, choose your preference for Row numbers.

Single report setting

To hide or show row numbers on a specific report (overriding your default setting):

  1. Open a standalone grid report (use the Reports dropdown in the page bar of a table’s home page).

  2. Select the Customize report button in the page bar.

  3. Under Options, choose your preference for Row numbers.
    Note: Selecting Default defers to your default report setting across all reports in the table.
