The Single Photo field lets users take or upload one photo as part of a form. This article covers how to add a Single Photo field, set how photos are captured, and configure its settings.
How the Single Photo field works
A Single Photo field shows a Take Photo button in the FastField mobile app. The user takes a photo with the camera or picks one from the photo library. The app adds it to the submission.
For example, a work order can ask for a Before Photo of the equipment. The photo shows the condition of the equipment before any work started.

To collect several photos in one field, use a Multi Photo field instead.
Add a Single Photo field
In the Form Builder, select Add Fields in the side bar.
Under Multimedia, select Single Photo to add it after the selected field. You can also drag it onto the canvas where you want it.

The field appears on the canvas as Single Photo Field, and its field settings open on the General tab.

Set how photos are captured
Use Single Photo Settings on the General tab to control where photos come from and how they're saved.
In Field Label, enter the question users see, for example Before Photo.
Turn on Allow Camera, Allow Photo Library, or both, to choose where users can get the photo. A new field allows the camera only.
In Quality, choose Jpg Normal, Jpg Medium, Jpg High, or PNG.
Turn on any other settings you need, such as Allow Annotation or Photo Overlay Date/Time Stamp.

Tip
Lower quality and a smaller Max Height (px) or Max Width (px) make submissions upload faster.
