When you signed up to use Quickbase, you created a billing account. A billing account belongs to one contact, which is tracked using that person's email address. Within your account, you can create multiple apps. Individuals who manage those apps can invite other users to share access to these apps, and therefore, to your account.
The person who creates the account becomes the account admin for the account and can create other admins if necessary. Account admins are responsible for managing applications that make up the account, as well as high-level permissions for app creation and denial of account access.

Admin Console
Quickbase provides a central location to handle all these responsibilities: the Admin Console.
To access the Admin Console, account admins can:
Open the Quickbase Admin dropdown in the top right of the My Apps page.
Select Manage the realm.
User management and administration
To give app managers full control of their apps, account admins don’t control how users are managed in individual apps. Only app managers can add users and set access rights, such as viewing and editing. This lets them run their apps without interference.
Account admins can still oversee user management. From the admin console, Account admins can:
View all users with access to the account
To do this within the Admin Console, select Users with Access. A list appears that includes any users that your app managers have added.Provision users
While a user won't join your account until an app manager adds that individual to an app, you can do some preliminary setup. As an account admin, you can add users to groups—even users who have yet to register in Quickbase (provisional users). Once an app manager invites the user to share an app, that user automatically belongs to whatever groups you assigned.Remove users from the account
App management
Account admins are responsible for managing the apps in their account. An account admin may perform any of the following tasks, if necessary:
Delete apps created by users in your account
Transfer the ownership of any app in the account
Prevent account users from granting apps access to everyone on the internet (EOTI).
Billing account management
Admins also perform the following account management tasks:
Keep the billing information up-to-date
Monitor usage to ensure that your account does not exceed the usage limits of your service plan
Upgrade or downgrade your service plan, as appropriate
