We take your feedback to heart, and we believe our builders help shape the future of the platform. Telling us what matters most to you is one of the best ways to influence what we build next.
Your feedback is one important input into our roadmap. We also weigh overall product strategy and market trends so that what we build serves as many of our customers as possible. Not every request becomes a published idea, but every one is reviewed, helps us understand what matters most to you, and informs the decisions we make about what to build next.
We’re updating the feedback experience
We're moving to a new feedback experience. For a short window in August you may submit feedback through a simple form while we finish migrating existing feedback and preparing the new portal. Anything you send during this time carries over automatically.
Your earlier feedback and votes are moving with you too, so there's nothing you need to re-add. For the full story on what's changing and why, see our announcement in Community.
Submit a request
Suggest a feature or improvement
Select the help icon in the global bar. Then select Give feedback.
The feedback portal opens as a pop-up on your screen, without navigating you away from the page you’re on.
Before you add anything new, search or browse the tabs to see whether an idea already covers your request. If you find one, add your vote instead of creating a duplicate.
If nothing matches, select Submit feedback to open the submission form.
Describe your request. As you type, we’ll surface any similar published ideas. If one covers what you need, you can vote on it instead. If not, add the details and submit. Your feedback goes directly to our product team for review.
Report a bug or issue
Feedback is for product suggestions. To report something that isn’t working, contact Quickbase Support.
Make a great request
The more context you provide, the better we can understand your request. We recommend including:
What you're asking for
Why it matters to your team or organization
A real-world use case
How you're solving the problem today
Screenshots or images that help explain your idea
A clear, specific request is much easier for us to evaluate. Name the exact area, report, or step you're referring to, since different people often describe the same screen or feature in different ways.
Vote and set your priorities
Voting is one of the clearest signals we use to understand demand.
Browse the ideas in the portal and vote on the ones that matter to you. Choose how important an idea is to you, and add a short note with your business context or use case so we understand why it matters.
Track your activity any time from the My priorities tab, where you'll find the ideas you've voted on and the feedback you've submitted.
Switch between your own view and your organization's view to see what your teammates have submitted and voted on, so your team has one shared picture of what matters most.
The more customers who vote on an idea, and the higher they rate its importance, the stronger the signal to our product team.
What happens next
When you submit feedback, our product team reviews it. We group related feedback into ideas: shared opportunities that customers can vote on and follow. From there:
If your request lines up with an idea we're tracking, we connect your feedback to it. You can then follow that idea to see its status and progress, and your vote carries over automatically.
If we don't publish a request as an idea right now, it's still preserved, reviewed, and considered as we plan future improvements.
Either way, we'll email you when there's an update.
Published ideas are organized into tabs based on where they are in their journey:
Tab | What it means |
|---|---|
Gathering input | Ideas we're actively evaluating. Vote here to tell us what matters to you. |
On the roadmap | Ideas we're preparing to build or actively building for a future release. |
Recently released | Ideas we've shipped and that are now available in Quickbase. |
If we decide not to move forward with a piece of feedback or an idea, we'll email everyone who submitted or voted to explain why. Common reasons include: a similar capability already exists, the request applies to a specific app rather than the platform, there isn't enough demand, or it doesn't fit our current product direction.
FAQ
What's the difference between feedback and an idea?
Feedback is what you submit: a feature request, suggestion, or pain point. It stays private to your organization and goes directly to our product team. Ideas are shared topics our product managers publish based on related customer feedback. You can vote on them, follow their progress, and see where customers are asking for similar improvements. Not every piece of feedback becomes a published idea, but every submission is reviewed and helps inform what we build next.
How long will it be before the product team reviews my request?
We review as much feedback as we can and focus on the requests with the strongest demand. To give yours the best chance, follow the tips in Make a great request and keep your priorities up to date.
Will I be notified when something changes?
Yes. You'll receive email updates when the status of your feedback changes, or when there's an update on an idea you've voted on.
Can I comment on or discuss an idea?
When you vote on an idea, you can include a short note describing your use case or business context. There aren't open discussion threads or back-and-forth comments. For a wider conversation, start a discussion on our community site, Qrew Discussions.
Can I see feedback from other customers?
No. Feedback submitted by other organizations isn't visible. Instead, you can explore published ideas that represent the themes we're hearing across customers. Each idea shows how much support it has received, so it's easy to see what's resonating and add your own vote.
Within your own organization though, you and your teammates share a view of the feedback your team has submitted and the ideas you all have voted on.
Should I vote on ideas that are already on the roadmap?
Yes. Voting on an idea that's already planned is still worthwhile. It helps us understand how important the work is across customers, and you'll receive updates when it's released.
Thank you for your feedback, understanding, and partnership as we work together to build the best product possible.
