Follow an agreement
Each agreement has a JuicedSign Management record, linked to the record you sent from. Its Status shows where the agreement is: Created, Delivered, Completed, Declined, Voided, or Expired.
Each recipient has a JuicedSign Recipients record, linked to the JuicedSign Management record. It shows the recipient's status and dates.
See JuicedSign tables and fields for every field and status.
The buttons on these records:
Button | On | Shows when |
|---|---|---|
Void Agreement | JuicedSign Management | The agreement isn't Completed, Declined, or Voided. |
Resend Email | JuicedSign Recipients | The agreement is Delivered, and the recipient hasn't completed or declined. |
Captive Recipient Signing | JuicedSign Recipients | The agreement is Delivered, the recipient signs in person, and hasn't completed or declined. |
Reset Security Code Counter | JuicedSign Recipients | Always. Use it when a recipient used up their access code tries. |
Void an agreement
Void an agreement to stop it, for example when the document was wrong or the deal changed.
On the JuicedSign Management record, select Void Agreement. The Void Agreement window shows the agreement ID, subject, and status.
Enter the reason. A reason is required.
Select VOID AGREEMENT. The window shows Agreement with agreement ID … has been voided successfully.
The status changes to Voided, and the reason is saved in Reason to Void Agreement.
JuicedSign emails the recipients up to the current signing order, with the reason. Recipients later in the order never hear about the agreement.
Recipients can no longer open or sign the agreement.
You can't undo a void. To send again, fix the record and select Send to JuicedSign to create a new agreement.
You can't void a Completed, Declined, or Voided agreement. The window shows You cannot void an agreement that is already …
An agreement is also voided when a recipient chooses to print and sign on paper. See The signing experience.
Resend the signing email
Resend when a recipient lost or didn't get the email.
On the recipient's JuicedSign Recipients record, select Resend Email.
The window confirms: Your request to resend an email to the recipient … is submitted successfully.
The recipient gets the signing email again, with their latest link. If they have an access code, the code email is sent again too. See Access codes.
You can only resend to a recipient whose turn it is. Otherwise the window shows This recipient … is not in the signing order that is being processed currently…
If the record is out of date, the window shows …it does not match with the status that we have in our records… Refresh the record and try again.
When the email was resent, JuicedSign fills in Resend Email Sent Date. If it couldn't resend, it fills in Resend Email Status.
Recipients who sign in person don't get emails. Use Captive Recipient Signing instead.
When a signing link stops working
A signing link can be opened a limited number of times. You set the limit in Account Settings. See Account settings and senders.
When the recipient goes over the limit, the old link stops working. The page tells them they'll get a new email.
JuicedSign then makes a new link and emails it to the recipient. The count starts again from zero.
Older emails still have the old link. Tell the recipient to use the newest email. If you resend, the resent email has the new link.
Reopen signing for an in-person signer
If an in-person signer closed the signing page before finishing, select Captive Recipient Signing on their JuicedSign Recipients record. The signing page opens again, on your screen, for them to sign.
See In-person signer.
Reset an access code counter
If a recipient entered the wrong access code 5 times, select Reset Security Code Counter on their JuicedSign Recipients record.
See Access codes.
What JuicedSign does on its own
Reminders: recipients whose turn it is get reminders, based on the agreement's reminder delay and frequency.
Expiration: recipients get a warning before the agreement expires. When it expires, the status changes to Expired, and the agreement can no longer be signed.
Completion: when everyone has finished, the status changes to Completed. JuicedSign saves the signed document and emails it to the recipients.
Decline: if a recipient declines, the status changes to Declined, and the agreement stops.
To change the reminder and expiration days, see Button parameters. For the emails, see Emails and the certificate.
