The Quickbase Intelligence Package is an add-on to your Quickbase plan. It adds the following AI features to your realm, in addition to the AI features already included in your plan:
AI agent—chat with Quickbase AI to gain deep insights and make changes in and across your apps
AI Actions (Pipelines channel)—invoke AI as an automated step in a workflow with custom instructions
AI App Intelligence—maintain continuous visibility into the structure and purpose of your apps
Data Analyzer—create custom machine learning models to predict outcomes
AI Control Center—set granular controls to determine how AI is deployed and used across your organization
Together, these features help you build faster, automate manual work, and make more informed decisions.
The Quickbase Intelligence Package respects your existing permissions. AI features only access data and perform actions that a user already has rights to in their apps.
Get started
To start a 60-day trial of the Quickbase Intelligence Package:
Go to the Account summary page in the Admin Console.
In the Features to explore section, find Try Quickbase Intelligence and select Start 60-day trial.
To purchase the Quickbase Intelligence Package add-on, reach out to your Quickbase Account Team.
Once you have access to the Intelligence Package, realm admins can review available AI features and manage access in the AI Control Center. From there, you can decide which features to enable and for which users or groups, then explore each feature directly in your apps.
AI Controls
AI Controls is located in the Admin Console. It gives realm admins control over which AI features are available for the realm. Then, account admins can grant or restrict access by user or group on the Permissions page. Learn more about managing AI access.
These controls let you start small, such as enabling the AI Agent for a pilot group, and expand access as your organization gets comfortable with the Intelligence pack.
To access the AI Controls:
Go to the Admin Console.
Select AI Controls from the sidebar.
Use the toggles to turn specific AI features on or off for the realm.
Quickbase AI agent
The Quickbase AI agent lets you create, edit, and optimize apps, build reports, and manage workflows using plain language in a chat interface. Instead of manually configuring tables and fields, you can ask the AI agent to make changes for you.
The AI agent explains how your tables and fields connect before making changes, so you understand the impact first. It can also offer multiple approaches with trade-offs and let you choose how to proceed. After a change, the agent confirms what it did and links you to the result so you can verify that your other data wasn't affected.
Use the AI agent to do things like:
Surface overdue or at-risk work
Summarize in-progress projects
Track revenue across locations
Track work orders over time
Update records in bulk
Create and prioritize tasks
To access the Quickbase AI agent:
Open your app and select Quickbase AI in the global bar.
Use the chat box to enter your prompt.

AI Actions
AI Actions is a Pipelines channel that removes manual work via Pipelines through your custom instructions. Use it to automate tasks, such as extracting and summarizing data from documents.
For example, if a work order arrives by email, AI Actions can read the message and attachments, extract details like urgency and contact information, and create a fully populated record. The rest of the workflow, like approvals or scheduling, can then continue without manual data entry.
Some common use cases of AI Actions are:
Document intake and processing
Work order creation
Summarizing inspection forms
Invoice data extraction
Writing blog posts

To access AI Actions, go to Pipelines > Channels.
AI App Intelligence
AI App Intelligence generates a summary of your app's purpose and structure. This gives you and your team a quick way to understand what an app does without reviewing every table and field manually.
Some common use cases of AI App Intelligence are:
Understanding legacy apps
Simplifying onboarding
Improving governance and ALM (application lifecycle management)
Preparing for audits and reviews
App summaries refresh every 7 days and aren't versioned. Each new summary replaces the previous one.
To access AI App Intelligence:
Open the app you want to summarize and select Quickbase AI in the global bar.
Select App intelligence.
Your app summary generates and opens in your app.

Data Analyzer
Data Analyzer helps you predict outcomes and discover opportunities using machine learning models built from your app's historical data. Instead of treating every record the same, you can prioritize based on the likelihood of a specific outcome.
Data Analyzer creates a prediction field on a table to show the probability of an outcome, like whether an invoice will be paid on time. Because predictions are stored in a field, you can trigger downstream automations from them, like alerts or escalations.
Use Data Analyzer to predict things like:
Win/loss probability
Budget overruns
Employee attrition
Churn likelihood
Equipment outages
Access Data Analyzer from App settings or from the quick insights feature.
From app settings:
Select App settings from the sidebar
Under Advanced Features, select Data Analyzer
From quick insights:
Generate insights by following the steps in the quick insights help article.
Once your insights have been generated, select Open Data Analyzer.
This takes you directly to the modal to configure predictions and pre-fills the inputs with the same table, field, and value to predict that you selected to generate insights.
